Cross - Platform Congregation
The school club system is structured to nurture specific talents and interests of its students. The students have a wide variety of choices to select from. Each club ensures the learners are provided with relevant exposure, skills and experience in their specific domains. The Art & Craft Programme
The spacious art room at Sacred Heart Global School, Chennai, helps to unleash the creative streak in students and the soothing ambience makes it a much sought after room. Art plays a vital role in the all-round development of the students towards moulding the thought process and values of life. The Art Department at Sacred Heart Global School, Chennai, is committed to the cause of nurturing creative thinking and artistic growth, through inspirational instruction and a structured, goal-oriented curriculum. Creativity is an inborn quality in children. Teachers guide and encourage them to explore and exhibit their hidden talent and artistic potential from the budding stages to develop as blooming artists. Art Education in the pre-primary classes begins with learning and identifying different colours. The foundation course at the Primary school level is based on encouraging the students to explore drawing skills, understand the theory of colours and colouring concepts and get acquainted with the usage of various colouring materials, while practicing the art of blending colours.
Yoga
Yoga is a holistic practice that nurtures both the body and the mind. At our school, yoga is an integral part of student life, helping learners develop concentration, balance, flexibility, and inner calm.
Guided by trained instructors, students engage in simple postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques that improve physical health while reducing stress and anxiety. Regular yoga sessions not only enhance focus in academics but also promote emotional well-being and self-discipline.
