Academic Reports – Sacred Heart Matriculation School
Academic reports are shared with parents three times a year at Sacred Heart Matriculation School. Parent–Teacher Meetings are arranged to discuss each child’s academic progress and overall development. Parents are also informed through the school newsletter and are always welcome to contact the school for any additional information or clarification.

Student Support and Guidance
At Sacred Heart Matriculation School, our approach to discipline focuses on motivation and helping students understand that both good and poor behaviour have consequences. Positive behaviour is encouraged and rewarded, while inappropriate behaviour is corrected in a constructive manner.If a student is detained due to unacceptable behaviour, the parent or guardian is required to report to the school within 24 hours. Under such circumstances, parental reporting is mandatory and no exceptions will be entertained.
Standards of Behaviour and Discipline
Courtesy, cooperation, consideration for others, and common sense are core values expected from all students of Sacred Heart Matriculation School. Students are required to respect school rules, wear the uniform correctly, be punctual, and attend classes regularly.We believe that discipline can be learned only in a safe, orderly, and well-structured environment, and the school strives to provide such an atmosphere. Activities such as smoking, consumption of alcohol, and involvement with illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on and off campus.
Students are expected to respect one another as well as the property of others at all times. Any behaviour that disrupts the harmony of the school community will be addressed with appropriate disciplinary action.If a student, while outside the school campus, brings disrepute to the school through misconduct, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to take disciplinary action. This applies especially when students are travelling to or from school or are seen wearing the school uniform in public.
Attendance and Punctuality – Sacred Heart Matriculation School
Regular attendance is essential for effective learning and academic success at Sacred Heart Matriculation School. Parents are expected to support the school by ensuring that their children attend school regularly and arrive on time each day.Parents must inform the school by phone on the morning of their child’s absence. When the student returns to school, a signed absence note must be submitted stating the child’s name, class, dates of absence, and the reason for absence.

Requests for extension of holidays will not be entertained under any circumstances.
In cases of valid or special reasons for prolonged absence, prior permission must be obtained from the Principal. A written letter explaining the reason for the absence is also required.
The school conducts programmes to encourage punctuality, and attendance is closely monitored by the Deans to ensure consistency and discipline.
