Infrastructure

Class Room
Each classroom houses a large area and is designed such that every student gets the teacher’s maximum individual attention. There are over 25 classrooms for regular teaching alone and a number of other rooms like the Audio-Visual and Resource rooms to facilitate better learning. Air-conditioned and well ventilated with huge windows, they offer the right atmosphere for learning. The white boards and bulletin boards placed at vantage points, make learning easier and interesting. The strength of each class is kept at a manageable level and comfortable furniture adds to the ambience of the classroom.
Library
The School library is a learning resource centre in the widest sense as it houses information resources, expansive reading material and digital data. The library is well stocked with a wide collection of books, magazines and CDs on a variety of subjects.The school library fosters the development of life-long learning abilities and love for reading in the students. It also provides teachers with instructional material and professional resources.
Transport
The school has a huge fleet of buses for children and teachers plying to all major areas of the city. The transport system is running efficiently based on the guidelines put forward by the management for student’s safety. The school buses are secured with GPS , Live tracker and various technologies to give an excellent security system.
Cafeteria
Our school cafeteria is more than just a place to eat – it is a space where students can relax, recharge, and enjoy healthy, wholesome meals. We believe that good nutrition is the foundation for active learning, and therefore, we provide a variety of hygienic and balanced food options prepared with care.

Computer Centre
The school has a state of the art computer centre in a well-equipped and well furnished lab with multimedia, internet facilities and other technology. The students are trained to be proficient in information and technology.
Play Area
The school believes that Sports and games forms an integral part of learning and to prove this, the school has a vast play area with amenities for cricket, throw ball and tennis.
The MATH Lab
A well-equipped Math Lab at Sacred Heart Global School, Chennai, provides students with the opportunity to have fun with numbers. It creates a challenging atmosphere for students to put their mathematical abilities to test and enhance their analytical reasoning and lateral thinking through various games and activities. We instil and develop the observation skills among students to derive formulae. In the Math Lab, games are organized, models made, quizzes conducted, projects exhibited. Thus, the complete learning process is done through practical means. For Classes l to 7, experiments are done based on the concepts dealt in the syllabus. Various kits are designed and they are used to derive the formulae, which are specified by the CBSE syllabus. They are also assessed on the Math Lab activities.
The Science Laboratory
The Science Lab at Sacred Heart Global School, Chennai, provides an atmosphere of experiencing and learning science. It is an ultramodern Science lab, which can accommodate more than hundred students. The Science lab also provides an open environment for students to experiment and do research work. Under the professional guidance and assistance given by our science teachers, students are also encouraged to exhibit their innovative powers by developing samples and models. Our Science lab is highly sophisticated and fully equipped to meet the curriculum requirements for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. We have separate workstations for these three subjects. The state of the art equipment for Physics allows students to perform experiments and study various principles and laws. The facilities and wide range of chemicals and apparatus allow the students a hands-on experience in learning Chemistry. There are numerous preserved biological specimens to observe and study, widening the exposure of students to the world of Biology. The main lab also has a special area called ‘Junior Lab’ where students in the middle school get a hands-on experience.
Health care
At Sacred Heart Global School, Chennai A tranquil atmosphere is provided there with basic first-aid facilities. In case of immediate attention, welltrained teachers are available to attend and nurse the students in the health centre. The faculty ensures that utmost care is taken till the parents are available to care for their child.
Auditorium
The spacious Open -Air auditorium which has a seating capacity of about 500 is equipped with the best audio and light systems. The auditorium helps students to conduct events, debates and concerts.
Audio Visual Room
The audio-visual room is extensively used by the faculty and students to make presentations. To ensure long-term retention of what is taught, the school uses Power Point presentations and the Smart Board to hone student skills and encourages student-teacher interactions. Computer Aided teaching sessions hold a special place at Sacred Heart Global School, Chennai, which give our students the winning edge in a competitive world. Students have the pleasure of learning various topics with the help of computers.
Safety, Security & Surveillance
The campus has 24 x 7 security cover, with guards stationed at the Front and Rear Gates, in front of all buildings, as well as patrolling the campus. Drills are conducted regularly and protocol is in place for various different scenarios. 24 hours security/surveillance is taken care of through CCTV. Fire extinguishers have been placed at regular intervals and are routinely checked.
CCTV: All the buildings & outdoor fields are under surveillance through fixed & PTZ cameras, with event recording facility to keep a check on any untoward incident.
ACCESS CONTROL: All restricted areas/zones have controlled access for entry & exit, based on the smart contactless card & reader system.
HIGH ACHIEVER'S ACADEMY
Besides, the school arranges coaching class for aspiring students to secure excellent marks . Highly qualified and experienced faculty conduct these coaching classes. Also, we have tied up with an Australian University under the scheme “International Assessment of Indian Schools” to assess and compare the academic level and IQ of our students with respect to their counterparts anywhere in the globe.
