Uniform Regulations
In Sacred Heart School, students are required to wear their uniform neatly and completely.
The school will take action when grooming and dress are unsatisfactory. Clothing is to be named. All SHS specific uniform items are to be purchased from the school. The wearing of incorrect uniforms might lead to imposing a uniform detention, possible confiscation of the incorrect article, or the student being sent home to return with the correct uniform. If a tee-shirt is worn beneath the uniform shirt it must match the shirt’s colour, be plain and short sleeved. Boys are to be clean shaven. No gold jewellery is permitted other than a watch. No visible body piercing is allowed, except for girls wearing earrings, which should essentially be studs. Hair is to be tidy and conventional in style and colour. Makeup and nail varnish are unacceptable.
